Business Community Engagement Collaborative: Activating your Purpose 
There are multiple ways your organization can be an agent for change in your community. When you align your business’s resources, skills, and interests to community needs, real change happens, and everyone benefits.
 
This session is designed to help businesses begin to develop a strategic community engagement plan. 
 
Participants will:
  • Review our guide to focusing your community engagement efforts
  • Learn about one organization’s community engagement journey
  • Connect with community-minded professionals for relationship building and best practice sharing on community engagement.
The Business Community Engagement Collaborative is a new network designed to support individuals who are interested in spearheading a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program within their business, those who are new to community engagement practitioner roles, and business leaders who want to strategically engage their employees – and leverage their resources – in the community. We’ll convene quarterly for learning opportunities that will help us collectively build a stronger and more vibrant Richmond region.
