This session is designed to help businesses strengthen community partnerships through principles of engagement and by understanding the nonprofit perspective behind the business sector’s community engagement efforts.

Participants will:
- Understand how to utilize the RVA Engage Guiding Principles as a guide to increase the effectiveness of community engagement practices
- Hear from a panel of nonprofit professionals about their experience with businesses’ community engagement programming
- Connect with community-minded professionals for relationship building and best practice sharing on community engagement
