DEI Collaborative: Leading Practices in Supplier Diversity
There are multiple ways your organization can be an agent for a more equitable community. Diversifying suppliers is one clear way to support the Black and Brown business ecosystem. Our first Collaborative convening will focus on our region’s commitment to boost spending with Black and Brown businesses, and unpacking the barriers and opportunities in doing so.
Participants will:
- Learn about the Greater Washington Partnership’s $4.7 billion-dollar commitment to support diverse suppliers and Minority Business Enterprises across their footprint, which includes the Richmond Region
- Hear from procurement professionals and Black and Brown business owners about the greatest opportunities and challenges to doing more business together
- Build relationships and share leading practices with other business professionals on DEI and supplier diversity
