Join us as we listen to three phenomenal women share their journeys to leadership and the approaches they've been taking. You don't want to miss them discuss their roadmaps to success and what it means to take fearless leadership roles in the RVA region. Anedra, Tiffany and Lisa will inspire and empower you to reach your own leadership capacity. RVA is full of inspirational women and we're excited to have them be a part of September's Real Conversation program. Remember, we'll be ending with our traditional wine time so we certainly hope to see you there.

Anedra Bourne, Tourism Coordinator - City of Richmond
With more than 18 years’ experience in the travel and tourism industry, Anedra Wiseman Bourne is currently the tourism coordinator for the City of Richmond, part of the Department of Economic & Community Development. She works daily to both raise the profile of the City of Richmond as a tourist destination and work in tandem with other city departments to expand and enhance the City’s infrastructure to be more welcoming to visitors. Bourne began her career in her hometown of Annapolis, Maryland, where she marketed the state’s capital and surrounding county as one of the premier mid-Atlantic destinations in the country. Mrs. Bourne is a recent graduate of the 2016 Class of Leadership Metro Richmond; serves on the Board of the Northside Family YMCA; serves in leadership role as a member of the Junior League of Richmond; and she is active in the Linwood Holton Elementary School PTA. In her spare time, Anedra is the proud wife of Jeff Bourne, and mother to Sydney (7) and Joseph (4).
Tiffany Jana, CEO - TMI Consultants
Tiffany is the CEO and President of TMI Consulting, a Diversity and Inclusion firm based in Richmond, VA. She has helped orchestrate the venture’s tremendous growth over the past 13 years, establishing a national network of consultants and spearheading the company’s transition into the world’s first Certified Benefit Corporation with a Diversity and Inclusion focus. With Tiffany at its helm, TMI Consulting has become a global leader in social enterprise and values-based engagement that nurtures and supports talent while making a positive impact in the world. Tiffany is pleased to announce the upcoming publication of Overcoming Bias, a book she co-authored with TMI Co-Founder Matthew Freeman to help readers explore and confront their conscious and unconscious biases. Her awards and talks include: Diversity Journal's 2013 'Women Worth Watching,' Metropolitan Business League's 2014 Entrepreneur of the Year, and TED Talk: The Power of Privilege.

Lisa Sims, Interim Executive Director - Venture Richmond
Lisa Sims is Interim Executive Director for Venture Richmond, a non-profit organization that engages business and community leaders in partnering with the city to enhance the vitality of the community, particularly downtown. Previously she was Deputy Director, overseeing festivals and events, marketing and development, and in that capacity is also director of the Richmond Folk Festival. Prior to Venture Richmond, Lisa served as vice president of marketing for what is now Richmond Region Tourism. She is originally from Nashville and had also been with Opryland USA, and the Country Music Foundation/Country Music Hall of Fame, where she worked in the areas of Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, Promotions and Events, specifically related to the travel and tourism industry. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications/Journalism, and for the first few years out of college worked as a reporter and editor for community newspapers in Tennessee. Currently she serves on the Massey Cancer Center Advisory Board, the board of directors for Richmond Region Tourism and the CenterStage Foundation, and as a member of the Richmond Biotech Park’s Innovation Council. This year marks her 14th year anniversary as a cancer survivor and she is a past president of the Board for the Central Virginia Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
