Brand reviver Matthew Mullett is excited to host HYPE at Richbrau for great craft beers and deep discussion. This historic brand has been a part of Richmond for nearly 50 years. In 2016, Mullett purchased the rights to the name for the third incarnation, with plans to keep the business consumer driven and demand based. The beers will be named “after pieces of Richmond’s history” to overcome stiff competition with regional charm. With over two dozen breweries, cideries and distilleries in the Richmond region, Mullett will share his expertise on Brewery Sustainability and why he chose to own his own brewery.
