Please join ChamberRVA for an informative panel discussion about waterfront development along the James River in Richmond's East End. The Boathouse at Rocketts Landing will play host to Richmond's stakeholder groups as they update us on the current plans for riverfront development.
As part of ChamberRVA's InterCity Visit in April, attendees saw Pittsburgh has been able to transform by strategically developing its downtown riverfront. As a follow-up to that visit, this event will focus on where Richmond currently stands with its riverfront development plan.
The panel will feature the following distinguished guests:
- Nathan Burrell, Park Manager, James River Park System
- Mark Olinger, Director, Richmond City Department of Planning and Development Review
- Susan Robertson, Chair, Capital Trees
- Bill Street, CEO, James River Association
- Beth Weisbrod, Executive Director, Virginia Capital Trail Foundation
The event is free and will include complementary hors d'oeuvres with a cash bar. Please register ahead of time to reserve your space at the event. Registration closes June 25th at 11:59pm.
