Event Description:
Sign up to attend the Internship Workshop at ChamberRVA! After receiving survey responses from over 100 employers in the Richmond region, we are excited to start bringing organizations together to address solutions for creating more quality, equitable internships in the region as part of the Virginia Talent Opportunity Partnership initiative (regional name: RVA Collab).
This event will bring together employers who depend on a robust talent pipeline with representatives from higher ed. Panels and discussion will focus on paid internships, barriers to offering internships and programs that currently exist among employers and educators. The content of this first event is centered on employers looking to recruit students enrolled in four-year degree programs. Future events will focus on work-based learning programs supported by two-year institutions and in other settings.
