Event Description:
Chamber RVA and PlanRVA are partnering on the 2023 Richmond Regional Transportation Planning Organization Transportation Forum to build momentum around big transportation ideas. The Forum will feature insightful presentations and engaging panel discussions that provide an overview of the region’s multi-modal transportation infrastructure investments as well as the major issues that need to be addressed in the short and long-term for all modes of travel including transit, highways, bicycles, pedestrians, and freight.
Attendees will be entered into a drawing to win two roundtrip Amtrak tickets anywhere along the Northeast Regional, which travels as far south as Roanoke and as far north as Boston, thanks to a donation from the Virginia Passenger Rail Authority. More attendee prizes will be announced soon.
The 2023 Transportation Forum agenda includes:
Welcome Setting a Foundation: How a Project is Conceived and Implemented Big Ideas
Prioritizing Safety
